The route is about 7 km long and can be done comfortably in about two and a half hours. In that time you can enjoy the beauty of the landscape and listen to the explanations without feeling overwhelmed. The route is linear and is descending. The most striking part are the footbridges anchored in the gorge more than 100 meters above the riverbed. This part in addition to the two sections of footbridge and the path that connects them are almost 3 km.

Once the tour is finished and to complete the experience in an ideal way is to have lunch at the restaurant of the Tourist Complex “La Garganta”, which is right at the end of the route and that, in addition to good service, has a wide and varied gastronomic offer based on local products. After lunch the transport will be waiting for the clients to transfer them to their destination.

This experience can be organised as a “day-trip” starting and finishing at the same point or it can be combined with the transfer between different cities of Andalusia. Given its location with respect to the Malaga Airport and the AVE stations of Málaga and Antequera-Santa Ana, it can be scheduled as the first or last activity in Andalusia.
